New Year concert for the students of the internship department was held at the Institute on December, 17th. Ded Moroz and Snegurochka were invited to the event. Valerii Vladimirovich Chastnykh was Ded Moroz while Anastasia Lositskaya was Snegurochka. They congratulated everyone on New Year and organised a quiz. Apparently, the students know the Russian language and culture pretty well. Also they know what Ded Moroz and traditional Russian salad with herring have in common. Do you know?
After the quiz, the students pleased all present with Russian songs (Milenkiy Ty Moy (My Dear One), Rodina (Homeland), Gruppa Krovi), poems (Nikogo ne budet v dome, Dialogue next to the Christmas tree), a play (an excerpt from operette The Bat) and even dance. In the end there was a karaoke battle between students and lecturers! Sure, friendship won! This magical evening was full of sweet gifts, laugh and New Year mood.
