Maslenitsa (also known as Butter Lady, Butter Week, Crepe week, or Cheesefare Week)

Today, on Febuary 25, at 4 PM, the first meeting at the Virtual Lounge in the second semester will be held.
The lecture is on the national holiday called Maslenitsa (also known as Pancake Week, Butter Week). We are going to tell about Pancake week and traditional fun. We will reveal a secret recipe of Russian bliny and tell about a new rubric called "Cook with Veronika". Also we are going to tell why we burn Maslenitsa effigy in a bonfire and advise where you can join mass celebrations.
