The International online-festival "The Russian word in the Pacific Ocean"16 december 2021
In the middle of last month the results of the International online-festival "The Russian word in the Pacific Ocean" were announced. The festival was held from September, 17th, to November, 19th, on the base of the Institute of Oriental Studies - School of Regional and International Studies (SRIS) at Far Eastern Federal University. Finally, we got the awards from the festival organizers. We hasten to share this exciting news! The festival was held with information support of the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (MAPRYAL) and the Russian Society of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (ROPRYAL). 81 participants from 15 countries sent their videos to the contest: Armenia, Italy, Latvia, Bulgaria, China, South Korea, Japan, Marocco, Iran, Thailand, Central and Latin America, Uzbekistan, Tadzhikistan, Azerbaijan. Representatives of 21 higher education institutions sent works for the contest either. The winners of the nomination " With love to Russia" were announced. There are 5 winners and 5 prizewinners. A graduate of the IRLC, Huang Yiqui, has become one of the winners. He read a excerpt from the poem Vasili Tyorkin by Aleksandr Tvardovsky. What is more, it is a great honour for him and the Institute that his video was shown on the opening ceremony.
