The excursion to the Museum of Estates and the Art Gallery of I. Glazunov

On Saturday, January 28, 2023, two excursions were held at once for students of IRLС, accompanied by teachers - to the Museum of Estates and the Art Gallery of I. Glazunov. In order to better understand the theme of the exposition of the Museum of Estates, the day before the excursion, foreign students received a text and tasks from the teacher who organized the trip, so in the museum the students actively answered the questions, used new words, and also asked their own questions. The students were especially interested in the expositions “Russian Hut” and “Folk Costumes of Different Provinces of Russia”, and they also saw a master class on making linen thread on a spinning wheel. The students took a lot of pictures, the exhibits were so interesting and unusual for them. The museum day ended in the Art Gallery of I. Glazunov. The students also had their homework: to read about the most famous people of the 20th century, which they did very well. Therefore, standing at the picture of I.S. Glazunov "The Mystery of the 20th Century", the students accurately answered the teacher's questions in Russian about the most famous and influential people on our planet of the last century. The knowledge gained while visiting the Museum of Estates and the Art Gallery of I. Glazunov will help students in studying the course of social science and the history of Russia.
