Russian Language week took place in Berlin

From November 22 to November 26 Russian Language week took place in Berlin, Germany. It was subsidized by two main Russian organization promoting Russian Language and Culture in the world – Rossotrunichestvo and “Russkiy mir” foundation. More than 150 participants from Germany and other European countries visited the Week events devoted to Russian language teaching and learning.
Moscow State University was represented by Galina Kedrova, deputy dean of the Philological faculty, Vladimir Elistratov, professor of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Cultures and Valeriy Chastnykh, deputy director of the Institute of Russian Language and Culture.
Valeriy Chastnykh talked about different methods of using authentic videos in reaching Russian as a Foreign Language and introduced a new version of the video course of Russian “ V Moscvu? V Moscvu!” which will be published next year by “Russkiy Yazyk. Kursy” publish house.
