"Korean winter" has come to an end

 16 february 2018

Every year a lot of students from different countries come to IRLC Winter School. Traditionally January and February are the so-called Korean months, Japanese, Finnish, Spanish and Chinese students come in February and March.

This January was not an exception. Students from Kyungpook National University (Daegu) visited IRLC for a month language and cultural programme. Some of them have already been in Russia, others came to our country for the first time.

The schedule was very tight. During one month apart from traditional Russian language classes, the students travelled to 5 Russian cities: Tver, Saint-Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Kostroma and Sergiev Posad; visited the Tretyakov Gallery, to the Museum of Cosmonautics, went sightseeing around Moscow, watched ballet and even managed to create their own matryoshka.

KNU students will surely remember this trip and having returned they will eagerly continue to study Russian language and culture. When they receive certificates, they all expressed their intention to come to Moscow once again to continue to study at the IRLC or at post-graduate programmes provided by the MSU.

The Korean winter ended, now the IRLC Winter School is waiting for the students from Japan, Finland and Spain.
