Diving into Russian social culture - excursion to the Museum of Vodka

It is impossible to learn the language without its culture, not only art and literature are important but also the social culture and traditions. During their courses professors at the IRLC share the knowledge about Russian culture in all spheres. They choose various ways to show our traditions and to make their students experience Russia.
Our professor Marina Vladimirovna Belyakova proposed an interesting excursion - an excursion to the Museum of Russian Vodka situated at the Izmailovo Kremlin. The students learned about the history of this famous drink associated with Russia, learned how to drink it without having a hangover in the morning and tasted some vodka as a bonus. For the group this was a very intersting way to experience the culture of country of the language they study.
